Other than that, I have managed to put myself in numerous awkward positions this week. However, most the time I find them amusing, and just regard them as life as usual!

Lights out
At the dental school we have about 150 chairs on the floor. That means that at any given time, there could be that many dentists busily going about their work. Well yesterday during clinic the light suddenly flickered, and half of them cut out. Luckily we still had some light, and the computers were still up. Handpieces still worked, but suction was down. Yeah, it was crazy! Add to that our crazy clinic director suddenly running through the clinic saying "get everybody out!" I had no idea what was happening, and this being Nebraska, I thought for sure there was a tornado headed for us! About five minutes later the lights completely cut out, and the computers went down. It was insanity! Then, Dr. Howard finally makes an announcement, telling us the electricity was fine and that we should resume clinic activity. What a joke! However, the rest of the day was perfectly normal, and there was no tornado.

Spring fling
Welcome to a single's ward! Yeah... Totally decided to go last minute (literally), but it actually turned out to be pretty fun. This event was a formal dinner, activity, and dance. Here we are at dinner.

Kitty

These are pretty much the only pictures I took during spring break, so they will have to suffice. I had a good time hanging with the family and snuggling with the dogs apparently. (This isn't my bed, and we washed the sheets right after this picture was taken. Just in case you were worried!) Now it's back to school, and I'm already looking forward to the summer. Luckily the weather today was just beautiful. Today was a good day!

Pirates, as in "ARRRG"?
I set my radio as an alarm in the morning. This is an alternative to that obnoxious "alarm" beeping. It also has the added perk that sometimes the announcers are actually entertaining enough to prevent me from immediately pressing the snooze button! Imagine waking up to this little dandy one morning. Just listen to the stupid names people give their horses. It gets better at the end of the race.
Yeah, it was more funny with the radio announcers laughing in the background. Seriously, if I had a horse I just might name it something random. Plus, if you're into racing, you have the added bonus of hearing some poor race-track announcer trying to say your horse's ridiculous name without laughing! (On the bottom of the screen you can see that the horse's name is actually Arrrrrrr.)

127 Hours

Hey guys. So I finally got to see this movie last week. It was fabulous! However, lots of language. Yeah. If you want, come watch it with me and I'll try to edit it. Anyways, loved it. It's just crazy because I've been in slot canyons like this before, and I'm pretty sure I would've died in this situation. (If you don't know the story, he ended up cutting his arm off to escape, then still had to hike out!) First song on my playlist is from this show, just for funsies. PS, strange response, but now I really want to go hiking. I attempted to find some old pictures from my slot-hiking days, and I wasn't too successful. This was about the best I could do! Yeah, I'll have to plan a Bryce Canyon trip for May, or August when it will hopefully be warmer!

Dumass
With spring break, I have been traveling, and that brought to mind the last time I was traveling. This crazy old guy took off with my bag, leaving me with his bag (that luckily had his number on it). When he came back with it, his only explanation was "they look a lot alike." Here is a rough estimate of the two bags:

His bag
NOT equal to
My bag
Therefore, I have decided to dedicate this little video to that guy. Ha ha. The commercial used to be on TV, and my dad thought it was hilarious! Sorry if the language offends you...
