I'm pretty excited because 2012 has been my ever distant "light at the end of the tunnel" year. I will finally be graduating dental school, and moving on to real life! However, instead of just looking ahead, I thought it might be fun to look back at 2011.
Things that happened in 2011:
I participated in multiple random road trips in the midwest, including Minneapolis (MALL OF AMERICA!), Kansas City, Nauvoo, and Des Moines.... I didn't say that all of my trips were awesome, but I have visited several more states!
I had my last summer break ever
I put my beloved house up for sale :(
I took a chance on a relationship
I saw two musicals - Wicked and Les Miserables
I lost my ability to become embarrassed in a public situation
I rediscovered my love of bright eyeshadow
I went on some really good dates, and a few crappy ones
I entered the world of smart phones, and became overly dependent on mobile internet
I grew my hair out all year long

I discovered Pandora
I undertook several home improvement campaigns, including painting, hanging new blinds, and replacing an old towel rack
I improved upon my amazing shoe collection
I participated in a bunch of midnight movies
I got a new favorite band
That's about all I can think of right now. All-in-all, a pretty good year with a lot of firsts, including a bunch not exactly mentioned. Here's to 2011, and hopefully 2012 will also be a lot more firsts!
